Homemade rolls? Nope office made!

Last week I decided to try a new mid-afternoon snack with my coworker/lunch/snack buddy, Monika. We made smoked salmon rolls with cucumbers, avocado, and pea shoots wrapped in seaweed. They were delicious, healthy and actually pretty filling. I would suggest prepping and cutting your filling at home and then assembling at work. We just stacked our ingredients in a triangle piece of seaweed, rolled and we called it the MK roll, just to be silly.  I would suggest a dash of soy sauce (save those packets!) and to experiment with veggies.

  1. That sounds awesome. I bet you could cut the cukes at home and then put them in a rice vinegar/soy sauce/wasabi mix to give them a little punch of flavor.

  2. That's a great idea. The cucumber in rice vinegar is already one of my favorite snacks

  3. Oohh those look yummy! And you can do a variation on the seaweed and do rice paper!
